The drowsy inner feeling of excitement, nervousness, and uneasiness happening before a significant change. The piece focuses on the inevitable need for emigration; that moment when after many hours of planning and preparing, We realise the transition is imminent.

The audio recordings focus on the varied soundscapes of an Airport. From the loud & sustained rumble of an aeroplane taking off, to the quietest & rhythmical sound of a suitcase dragged along. Greetings and farewells in different languages, and people in transit towards their destination.
